Liberate:
A Peer
Consultation
Group

Liberate is a peer consultation group for mental health providers who are invested in supporting and collaborating with clients in their pursuit of healing and purposeful fulfillment through an anti-oppressive and liberation based lens.

This is a group for clinicians who are interested in integrating social justice based values into their clinical practice.

Students of anti-oppressive and decolonized therapeutic work are welcome to engage in thoughtful discussion about our work with clients, our professional identity development, and other points of discussion as we work towards decolonizing our clinical practice.

The deets....

  • Where do we meet? Virtually via Zoom. When you sign up, you'll receive a recurring Zoom link via email.

  • How much does it cost to attend? Nothing. This is a free consultation space for mental health providers.

  • Is this an identity specific group? Not at this time. Hoping to expand the space in the future, but for now...everyone who has intersectional, inclusive, anti-oppressive, liberation-based, and anti-carceral work in mind is welcomed in this space.

  • Are individual consultations available? Yes, for a fee.

Individual and Small Group Consultation can be a preferred option for those who might be seeking specific and individualized support in integrating social justice values, inclusive practices, and intersectional frameworks into their healing work.

This is an option that would be available to:

  • Licensed mental health providers seeking one-time or occasional support in developing an anti-oppressive and liberation based therapy practice.

  • Pre-licensed mental health providers seeking one-time or occasional supplemental support for their existing clinical supervision (which can still be counted as supervision hours if located in SC or FL)

  • Healers of various disciplines

  • Mental Health Coaches

Individual and Small Group Clinical Consultation

  • Professors or other educators supporting undergraduate students, graduate students, or adult students in a specialized training program

  • Small clinical agencies and group practices

If the work that you do or the organization you are a part of does not fit neatly amongst these descriptions, please reach out and schedule a time to chat so you can tell me a bit more about the work that you do and how I can support your efforts.

"We are those who witness and metabolize the pain in society, the shadow parts of the collective. We contain and transform suffering into possibility, offering constant shifts in perspective. Historically, our names were curandera/o, shaman, priestess, witch, bablawo, iyanifa, santera/o, and more. Colonialism silenced these identities, yet they continue to root us in ancestral wisdom. The work of healing is to remember, reparent, and reclaim ourselves for collective liberation."
